WHEREAS, at least 45,000 babies are being murdered through every year in North Carolina 

WHEREAS, every human being is created equal in the holy Image of God from the moment of fertilization 

WHEREAS, the civil government is preeminently responsible for the protection of human life and the implementation of just laws that vindicate the Image of God

WHEREAS, the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution requires the state to provide equal protection to every person within its jurisdiction

WHEREAS, current North Carolina abortion law denies equal protection by allowing the wholesale slaughter of preborn children 

THEREFORE, be it resolved that the North Carolina General Assembly must immediately pass a bill that provides equal protection of the laws for preborn children in our state
